Ivy Wong Abdullah

Ivy Wong Abdullah is currently the CEO Malaysia for Permian Global. She was the former Head of Environment Impact Area at Yayasan Hasanah, the CSR Foundation of Khazanah Nasional, Malaysia, and prior to that, VP Of Environment at Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) and former Programme Coordinator for Heart of Borneo and Head of Forestry Programme, WWF-Malaysia.

Ivy has over 30 years of work experience from local to international conservation NGO, state to regional governments, private sector and philanthropic organisation in Malaysia on topics of biodiversity and forestry, conservation, Environmental Policy, Climate Change and sustainability.

Ivy is currently serving as a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee UKM YSD Chair of Sustainability (2023-2028), a member of the 2020 AVPN Impact Investing Fellows and currently serving as AVPN Community of Experts. Ivy is also a 2016 Asia Fellow of the Low Emissions Development Strategy (LEDS) Global Partnership Program and a 2016 Alumni of Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Executive Education on Climate and Energy. In 2025, Ivy was featured in the Wiki Impact 100 changemakers list.
